How is liquor produced? What does alcoholism result in?

Liquor is obtained by fermentation of substances and if done wrong, poisonous liquor is produced and this could be fatal in many ways. Alcoholism can result in reducing the efficiency of the nervous system (especially brain) and liver as well as the lifespan of a person. Brain development in adolescents is also hindered due to alcoholism and so the ability of memorization and learning becomes slow. Addicted people are unable to think rationally. Due to this, the person has to face social, mental and familial illness along with physical illness.
